The Eight Kingdoms of Prophecy from Shinar to the Antichrist
What is the Babylon of biblical prophecy? What is the Babylon that is
mentioned 261 times in the King James Bible? What is the Babylon
described in the Book of Revelation?
Revelation 18:2-4 NKJV 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying,
“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of
demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated
bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication,
the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants
of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” 4 And I heard another voice from heaven
saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”
Is Babylon merely a symbolic representation of the conspicuous consumption for the United States
or, perhaps, the “World System” based on capitalism? Was John speaking in purely spiritual terms,
or is this Babylon a physical kingdom just like the ancient kingdom of Daniel’s day? What do all the
other kingdoms mentioned in Daniel, Revelation, and the other prophets tell us about the end
times? What is going to happen when Yeshua returns? We all want to know what the future holds.
As believers, we gravitate to biblical prophecy to find the answers to these questions frequently
trying to impose our present day situation, leader, and nations on the biblical descriptions. But what
is the biblical approach to prophecy? What is the purpose of biblical prophecy? Is it to foretell the
future in explicit detail, or is it to point us to signs and markers, guiding us on our pathway through
our walk and new life in Yeshua? More importantly, does it call us to repent and return to God, or is
it a convenient vehicle to explain what is going on in the world and, then, just forget? Also, do we
look at biblical prophecy from our modern Western mindset, or do we strive to understand it in its
historic and cultural context, reflected in the time it was written? These are the major questions that
we will strive to answer as we look at Babylon from a biblical perspective.
Finally, all scripture is given to us so that we might be fully equipped to do God’s work. Paul tells us
that all scripture is given to change our lives.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly
equipped for every good work.
Learning about what God reveals about the time of Yeshua’s second coming is important. But
knowledge without application is empty. We need to ask, “How does the meaning of this passage
apply to my life? How can I realign my life to this truth revealed in God’s Word?” If we don’t allow
and even encourage God’s word to change our lives, than all we gain is a puffed up head. As you
read this book, take time to pray and ask God to lead you into His truth. Ask God to show you how
to align your life with the truth that He has revealed.

The Biblical Identity of the Antichrist
There is a lot of attention being paid in these last days to Biblical prophecy with a particular attention to the
empire of Antichrist and the return of Yeshua. The latest thought is that the Empire of Antichrist will be a
restored Islamic Empire and the Antichrist will be either the caliph or the secular leader of the burgeoning
power of Iran,we can’t help but conclude that one of these groups will manage to unite the Islamic nations
under one Empire giving rise to the Empire of the Antichrist.
But is that true? What does the Bible say about the identity of the Antichrist? Can the Antichrist be an Islamic
leader or caliph? Would such a person meet all the Biblical characteristics and attributes of the Antichrist?
This three part video series answers these questions by searching the scriptures for evidence of his identity
and leaves our modern day pre-conceptions out of it.
Bonus video included- The Mark of the Beast: It's a Matter of Worship
What is the mark of the beast? In the past, it has been thought to be the social security card, a driver’s license,
or a credit card. Many Christians today believe that it will be a microchip containing an individual's
biometric and financial information implanted beneath the skin. The reasoning goes that this chip will be the
Antichrist government’s way of keeping track of everyone and preventing those who don’t have a chip from
buying and selling. Should Christians avoid a biometric chip based on this idea that it is really the mark of
the beast? Should Christians even be concerned with the mark of the beast? What does the Bible say
such a mark is?
