Divine Appointments with God.  Study for Small Groups
God wants His people to meet with Him every day, but in addition to our daily time with Him, God has set up specific
days on which He will meet with His people.  God calls these days His appointed times.  In the English translations of the
Bible, these days are called Feasts of the LORD.  On these God ordained days, God wants us to witness the
accomplishments of His redemption plan.  Every major event of God's redemption plan occurs on one of these divinely
appointed times, His feast days. Yeshua's (Jesus') death, burial and resurrection all happened on of the LORD's appointed
days.  The giving of the Holy Spirit on the disciples happened on one of these feast days.  Following this pattern, Yeshua's
return, execution of judgment and the establishment of His kingdom will each happen on one of these Feast of the LORD.

This study, consisting of two books, a Leader's Guide and a Student Workbook, will take your small or home based Bible
Study to new levels of understanding of the prophetic nature and significance of God's appointed Feast days we
commonly think of as the traditional Jewish holidays.  In the study of the Spring Feasts, Passover, Unleavened Bread,
Firstfruits and Shavuot, you will see how He fulfilled these to the very day and hour. In the sections of the fall Feasts, the
Feast of Trumpet (Rosh Hashanah), The Day of Atonements (Yom Kippur), and the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles), you will
discover that they are all about His return, His judgement of the Nations and the establishment of His Kingdom here on
Earth and His thousand year reign from Jerusalem.  This study is also available as an on-line course where you can join in
as Brenda and I lead our own home group through this study.  See the "Feast Study" page for details.

Reasons for Christians
to Celebrate the Biblical Feasts
What are these strange holidays that the Jewish people celebrate?  Did you know that God instituted them?  We read in
the Gospels that Jesus was crucified on the Passover, but what is the Passover?  Is there any significance to the fact that
Jesus died on the Passover?  What about the other "Jewish Feasts?"  These feasts are Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and
the Feast of Weeks in the Spring with The Feast of Trumpets, Yom Kippur and Tabernacles in the Fall.  What are these
all about?  Do these other feast days hold any significance in the life of Jesus and the lives of His followers then or even

This book is a collection of short essays where you will find a brief overview of the Biblical feast days and discover why
they are indeed important to you a a Christian believer.  These essays will introduce you to these important feast days in
the life and times of Jesus the Messiah and give you reason to recognize them and incorporate them into your life.  They
will enrich your understanding and relationship with God the Father, who gave us these feasts to His son Jesus who is
the embodiment of the word of God.  It is our prayer that you will begin to understand the powerful message contained
in these Biblical feasts, God's "divine appointments."
The Sign of Jonah
The Pharaisees and Sadducees came to Yeshua (Jesus) asking for a sign that proved He was the Messiah.  Yeshua chided
them that, although they could read the signs in the sky about upcoming weather, they could not understand the signs
heralding the coming of the Messiah.  Disgusted with them, He told them of the sign they were missing.  This sign was
the Sign of Jonah!

Matthew 16:4 NKJV "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the
sign of the prophet
Jonah." And He left them and departed.

Yeshua's words indicate that this sign should have been one they were familiar with.  Although earlier in His ministry,
Yeshua explained what this sign is, however in this interchange, he references the sign of Jonah without telling them
what He is talking about.  In other words, Yeshua is giving them a big hint if they are motivated enough to refer to their
own scriptures, the sign should be obvious.  In this book, we take Yeshua's hint and search the scriptures for the sign of
Jonah, and amazingly we find it everywhere.  Join us as we unravel the mystery of The Sign of Jonah!

Shadows of the Messiah in the Torah
Jesus' Hebrew name is Yeshua which means "He will save" or "salvation."  His coming is in fulfillment of the
promises of God to send
salvation to His people.  God recorded these promises through Moses and the prophets in the Old Testament,
the scriptures from
Genesis through Malachi.  Yeshua said that all the scriptures are about Him.

John 5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

John 5:46  For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Luke 24:44-45  And he said unto them, These are the words which spake unto you, while I was yet with you,
that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law (Torah) of Moses, and in the prophets, and in
the Psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.

These volumes contain twelve lessons each of in-depth studies of just a few of the places in the Old Testament
which testify about Yeshua as the Messiah who is coming again.  In these volumes we explore the hidden
Gospel message hidden in the ancient Hebrew alphabet, examine some of the puzzling rituals in the Torah that
are all about Yeshua.  We look at the life and times of the personalities of the Bible from Adam to the kings and
later prophets of Israel and also explore the shadows of Messiah in the Land of Israel itself!

Each lesson in these volumes is divided into 3 sections: a leader's guide section, a student notes section and a
discussion questions section designed to encourage the study participant to dig a little deeper into the material.
There are also other general handout materials in each volume included in the appendices.  All of the handout
materials are available in PDF format on an included CD or available for FREE download (click on a book image
for details) to make it easier to print and distribute to your study participants.  That way, you only need to

Babylon Rising
The Eight Kingdoms of Prophecy from Shinar to the Antichrist
What is the Babylon of biblical prophecy? What is the Babylon that is
mentioned 261 times in the King James Bible?  What is the Babylon
described in the Book of Revelation?

Is Babylon merely a symbolic representation of the conspicuous
consumption for the United States or, perhaps, the “World System”
based on capitalism? Was John speaking in purely spiritual terms,
or is this Babylon a physical kingdom just like the ancient kingdom
of Daniel’s day? What do all the other kingdoms mentioned in
Daniel, Revelation, and the other prophets tell us about the end times?
What is going to happen when Yeshua returns?  We all want to know
what the future holds.

As believers, we gravitate to biblical prophecy to find the answers to
these questions frequently trying to impose our present day situation,
leader, and nations on the biblical descriptions. But what is the biblical
approach to prophecy? What is the purpose of biblical prophecy? Is it to
foretell the future in explicit detail, or is it to point us to signs and markers, guiding us on our pathway through our walk and new life
in Yeshua? More importantly, does it call us to repent and return to God, or is it a convenient vehicle to explain what is going on in the
world and, then, just forget? Also, do we look at biblical prophecy from our modern Western mindset, or do we strive to understand it
in its historic and cultural context, reflected in the time it was written?  These are the major questions that we will strive to answer as
we look at Babylon from a biblical perspective. Join us on a journey through prophetic scripture like you have never done before!

The message of one heart is an essential one for the body of believers today as well
as for national Israel. In this time when the coming of Yeshua is getting closer and
closer, it is crucial for us to come together in our love for God. We may have
differences in points of doctrine, but these will all be resolved at Yeshua’s return.
We can agree to disagree about many issues as long as we agree in our love for
the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and in our belief in the coming of Messiah.
As a follower of Yeshua, We believe that He is the returning Messiah although
we know our Jewish friends do not. However, when we unite together in our love
for God, we unleash the power of God! We believe this will happen for the Jewish
people as they someday face a concerted and unified effort from their Islamic
neighbors to destroy Israel. I believe this will happen for believers around the
world when they are confronted with tribulation as the empire of Antichrist
comes to power.

This singleness of heart won’t come without prayer and repentance. In the context
of this verse in 2 Chronicles, King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah led the people
in repentance and returning to worship God and only God! In this book, we examine
the power of God that is released when we have singleness of heart toward God
and each other. Won’t you join us to pray that God will raise up leaders who love
God with all their hearts and that He will give singleness of heart to God’s people
to follow these spiritual leaders at the word of the LORD?
